My one regret today is that I can't be there in person to congratulate you, but I'm still so happy to be here for this big event in your life!!
Six years and going strong. I still remember when you commented to my HMD post on Alex's journal, and I can't believe how far it took us. Six years and so many fandoms later and here we are, still talking on an almost daily basis. You've been an incredible presence in my life, constant and steady, a creative partner who was always ready and eager to fling ideas and stories back and forth at a pace so breakneck others would get dizzy. You could sit and talk with me for hours on topics both serious and not-so-serious - and we did! We could carry Skype conversations off for five hours if we didn't stop ourselves. From day one we clicked into place like pieces in a puzzle, and six years later shows no signs of that changing.
Every now and then I think about how meetings are often so random chance, and even moreso online. If you hadn't decided to comment on my HMD, and then later on on my main journal, would we have met? Would our lives have ever crossed? Would we have met at a later point or forever been apart, not knowing the other existed? It's hard, and sad, to imagine what things could have been like without you. We've shared a lot of fun, but you've also been there through the rougher times of my life, and I'll always be grateful for your support and your friendship. I know I can always rely on you when something's got me down. Friendships like ours are precious, and I want you to know how much I appreciate you.
And all these years lead up to this, to your marriage to someone who loves you and you love in turn, to your marriage to Ash. Every time I see a picture of you and Ash, or read your fawning over her, I can tell how much love you both have for each other. I know that you two will make each other incredibly happy. I'm so glad you two could find each other and love and support each other, and the memories you'll create together will be absolutely beautiful. To be here to witness this is an honor I cherish. Here's to you and Ash and your eternal love, and finally being able to call each other wife and wife!! Go at the world and GET IT.
